We Draw Hope Where Others See Barriers.
We support, train, and empower people with visual disabilities to become active members of society.
Chairman’s Message
At Nour Al-Baseera, our focus is on changing society’s stereotypical view of persons with disabilities, while also supporting and helping them manage daily challenges.
Our journey began with human empathy, the foundation of volunteer work, and grew into studying the psychological, health, and social conditions of persons with disabilities. This led to taking practical steps to remove the barriers that prevent their participation in society and to secure a dignified life for them.
Despite the legal texts that guarantee their rights, what they actually receive in reality remains limited.
The Egyptian Constitution of 2014, Law No. 10 of 2018, and subsequent facilitations represent serious political commitment toward integrating persons with disabilities in society.
Based on this foundation, Nour Al-Baseera continues to move steadily towards achieving community inclusion, aiming to become one of the leading specialized centers in the rehabilitation and care of persons with disabilities.
